Making Waves at The Dockyard
SBR Steris will be undertaking another major project at the Historic Dockyard in Chatham in the coming weeks after winning our latest contract there.
We have been given the go ahead to begin the first phase of the upgrade of the fire alarm system throughout the Ropery, Spinning Rooms, Hemp Houses and Historic Rope Walk.
Not only has rope been made on this prestigious site since 1618, the rope – still made on site – has been used to rig some of the most famous ships to sail the sea, including The Cutty Sark and Victory in Britain.
If that’s not enough, a number of well-loved television shows and films have been shot in the buildings, including Les Miserables starring Hugh Jackman and Russell Crowe!
We will be upgrading time-expired field and control equipment to the latest fully compliant equipment ensuring the future safety of the historical buildings for years to come.
Big Brother's Watching at DNAL
SBR Steris is delighted to have won a new security contract with David Norris Analytical Laboratories in Dartford.
We will be providing and installing the company with a high-definition CCTV upgrade at their premises, to include 16 cameras both internally and externally.
This latest project helps cement our excellent, long-lasting relationship with the firm.
